Catch up with missed shows at the click of a button

14th November 2020

Sheringham Little Theatre has launched a “catch up” service to help people see shows they missed during lockdown restrictions

A trio of events – from drama and comedy to classical music – are the first to feature in the new venture.

Filmed versions of the shows are accessible through tickets bought on the theatre’s website from this Friday (November13).

They are:

Blink – Award winning playwrite Phil Porter’s darkly funny “online” love story with a difference, starring Little Theatre young talent Megan Artheron and Sam Thompson as Sophie and Jonah, two lonely lost souls brought together by a baby monitor.

Radio Fun – An original comedy revue of sketches in the style of “steam wireless”, performed by local actors, including co-writer Paul Minett who has penned gags for big names from Lew Dawson to the Two Ronnies.

London Mozart Players – An outdoor classical concert held at Mannington Hall’s walled garden this summer, combining top quality music with inspirational stories from lockdown curated and presented by four Little Theatre young actors.

Social-distanced crowds enjoy the music event at Mannington Hall.

Theatre director Debbie Thompson said: ”All three events had audience numbers limited through Covid restrictions, so we know some people were unable to get tickets – while others may still be a bit anxious about attending shows with other people, despite them being safely social-distanced.

“Filmed recordings done at each show are a great way for those who were unable to attend for whatever reason to not miss out. And it is something we will look at for other shows as we go forward in the ‘new normal’.”

Recording tickets are available until January 31. They are £10, but there is also the chance to add £5 and £10 donations at
