Recording offers chance to see sold out Sheringham Little Theatre fundraiser concert
14th August 2020
Live tickets for a pioneering outdoor music event in north Norfolk were a sell out – but people can still see and hear the show via a virtual version.
The renowned London Mozart Players combined with young actors to stage an early evening of music and prose and poetry inspired by positive lockdown stories.
It was held on Saturday August 22 in the walled garden of Mannington Hall, the home of theatre patron Lord Walpole.
But there is still a chance to enjoy the evening via a recorded version, which has bonus material including music and interviews.
Both versions are raising funds for the Little Theatre, as it bounces back from weeks with income in lockdown.
The concert was organised via Orchestras Live, as part of their programme of staging community-focused events in north Norfolk.
The programme included: Mozart, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (1st Mvt); Elgar, Salut D’Amour; Woolf, Homespun Miniature No. 2; Grieg, Holberg Suite (1st Mvt); Elgar, Serenade; Tchaikovsky, Andante and Piazzolla, Oblivion and Libertango.
Tickets for the recorded version are £6 via this website. A link will enable people to view the recorded show until September 29.
