Jan Jinkerson & the John Whitehead Trio

The John Whitehead Trio with vocalist Jan Jinkerson focus on the Great American Songbook of Jazz Standards. Their music ranges from sultry ballads to up tempo swinging numbers, Bossa Novas & original tunes by John. Jan has worked with a variety of Jazz, Blues & Soul bands around the U.K. including the legendary London Astoria, Soho’s Jazz After Dark club & the Tin Pan Alley studio. Dave Pullin, on double bass & Rob Masters, on drums, are two highly experienced musicians who are in constant demand. This group of musicians have been together over a number of years & have a relaxed working relationship that suits the style of music they play.
