Steel Magnolias

Steel Magnolias is a comedy-drama. Following a group of friends in a Louisiana beauty salon, the play combines humour and comedy with real human tragedy. As the title suggests, the female characters are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel. Although we follow the story of one family in particular, each character is fully formed and goes on their own journey. Ultimately it is deeply revealing of the powerful and healing bond women can share.
