Written by local writer James McDermott (EastEnders, Rubber Ring, Time & Tide) and drawing on his own experiences of bereavement after losing his father during the pandemic, It Comes In Waves is a big – hearted community – spirited coastal comedy drama that laughs in the face of loss, explores how grief comes in waves and asks how we can help each other to stay afloat when it hits.

Navigating Grief Workshops – 5.30PM – 6.30PM
In this informal inclusive interactive workshop, through group discussions and creative exercises, you will acquire new tips, tools and techniques to help you better understand and navigate grief and bereavement.
The workshop will be co-facilitated by qualified grief recovery specialist Simon Arthur and James McDermott, writer of grief-themed comedy drama ‘It Comes In Waves’. Pre-booking is advised.
