Free Creative Theatre Workshop for Young People

Sheringham Little Theatre and MAP are offering a series of free creative workshops for young people aged 11–25, inspired by Crossing the Line — the award-winning novel by Tia Fisher and an upcoming production at St George’s Theatre.

Sessions run on Tuesday evenings, beginning with a free taster session on 27 January, 6–8:30pm at Sheringham Little Theatre. All sessions are completely free, with food provided at every workshop. No previous theatre experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to get involved.

Delivered in partnership with MAP, the programme is ideal for anyone interested in devising from stimulus, new writing and adaptation, and visually striking, socially driven theatre. Participants will explore theatrical techniques inspired by Crossing the Line and will have the opportunity to help inform creative choices for the production, as well as shape school workshop content as the show tours — a great chance to develop facilitation and leadership skills.

Young people are invited to get in touch via my work email for further information, or simply turn up to the taster session. Travel support is available if needed.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, come along and get involved.
