Cheers! We welcome the Maltings as a new sponsor

A restored and refurbished hotel and restaurant on the north Norfolk coast has stepped into the limelight as a new sponsor of the Little Theatre.

The Maltings at Weybourne combines 28 bedrooms and restaurant within its historic buildings which date back to the 16th century.

Now the accolade-winning destination, which underwent a three year restoration project, is passionate about supporting the local community that it is proud to be part of, and has signed up as a Limelight Sponsor of our community arts venue.

The Maltings is part of Chestnut, a collection of pubs with rooms and Big House hotels across the East of England. The collection includes The Feathers and Lawns Rooms in Holt, the newly refurbished Wiveton Bell, and The Globe Inn at Wells

It has been named in the Sunday Times 100 best places to stay this year. Its bedrooms are scattered throughout in the main house, flint cottages and converted stables.

The Grain Store restaurant is the heart of The Maltings, at home in a vaulted flint barn with menu of thoughtfully sourced, simply prepared food. In 2024 it was voted one of the top 21 new restaurants by luxury lifestyle travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller. It is open all day, an atmospheric space that easily lends itself to both intimate meals and big gatherings.

Guests can relax in Boldings Bar in the Main House, named after the pioneering 19th century publican who transformed it from a place that malted beer barley into place for locals to gather. Today’s guests can lose themselves in a book in the library, play in the games room, and browse the shelves in its own Bottle Shop.
