Snow is far from pure white in adult panto

An adults-only version of the classic Snow White fairy-tale is set to take Sheringham Little Theatre by storm.

Snow *hite, Rotten to the Core, sees the less than innocent heroine explore the world of dating in search of her Prince Charming – rather than sharing her bed with seven men for ever!

Writer Nick Earnshaw has laced the bedtime story with naughty adult humour, innuendo, strong language and bad behaviour that is not for the ears nor eyes of youngsters.

The 18-plus show runs from January 9-12 at 8pm, featuring the cast of the Snow White panto that has been running at the venue’s sister arts hub St George’s Theatre in Great Yarmouth. It includes several familiar faces from Sheringham shows in recent years. Kyle Fraser is Prince Valium, Kit Henson is Queen Quiff, Grace Pennington is Ida No, Paul Huntley- Thomas is Nurse Jiggly Jugs. They are joined by newcomer Cerys Bright as Snow, as well as some surprise guests making cameo appearances.

SLT director Debbie Thompson said: “Our first adult panto last year was a sell-out success so we are running another with more shows.

“It is very loosely based on the fairy-tale but is certainly not for the easily offended. It’s a brilliant way for adults to let off steam and enjoy themselves after the stress of the festive period.”
